Hello,My first thought is that the best place to look is with Asus themselves. Anytime when dealing with a piece of built in hardware on a laptop, the manufacturer is the bast place to look for answers.I am thinking that you need to update the drivers for the computer. This is the link to find those.It's likely the driver for the mousepad is not working properly. Please download the drivers and post the results.Also, keep in mind that there should be a way to 'permanently' disable the touchpad from the computer's BIOS menu. How to open newer ai files. This will ensure that the touchpad is always disabled, unless you go back into BIOS and re-enable it.Normally you get to BIOS while the system is booting up.
