How To Install Aether 2
The Aether introduces several huge mechanical features to enhance the experience both in the Aether and everywhere else in Minecraft. The Dungeons systemThis system isolates dungeons from the main world, and functions with the party system. Dungeon blocks regenerate instantly if broken, meaning no one can get inside even with creative mode. Instead of players rushing into a dungeon and demolishing whatever’s there and looting, the dungeon system requires players to form a party first. When the party is ready, you simply right-click on the dungeon door and everyone confirms if they’re ready. Since a party can only have up to 10 players, dungeons will present a decent challenge to players. Only one party can be present in a dungeon at any given time.Dungeons have three modes.
The first mode is “available” meaning the dungeon is free for any party to enter. The second mode is “occupied”, meaning a party is already inside the dungeon.
The third mode is “conquered”, which occurs after a player in your party has exhausted that dungeon. A dungeon becomes exhausted for a player either after the player finishes it or leaves when inside the dungeon three times. This prevents players from running the same dungeon for easy loot.Dungeons also regenerate their loot, mini-bosses and bosses after a party leaves it, meaning that content is available for other parties. This ensures everyone gets a chance at dungeons, rather than whoever gets there first. The first dungeon that this mod had added is the Sliders’ Labyrinth.
This dungeon expands an entire island, meaning you’ll have no shortage of loot to grab, enemies to fight or chambers to explore! The dungeon has three mini bosses which must be defeated before you can gain access to the final boss, the Slider. There’s a couple of new twists with this boss, so be careful! The Party systemPreviously in Minecraft, the only real way to form a group with others without having to worry about things such as friendly fire, were from overlaying plugins such as factions or towny over a Minecraft server. Now with the party system, you can form a party with your friends, complete with an overlay UI which lets you see who’s in your party, their health, their hunger, their armour and the amount of coins they have, without the need for plugins! Players can name their own party, and the maximum party size is 10 players. On top of these systems, not only do we have the original content of the Aether, but we have new mobs, new skyroot tree variants, new blocks, new items, new loot and reworked models and skins! We have lots more content planned in the future. How to install the Aether 2 mod for Minecraft:. Download the mod.

But it's not, it is definitely from my heart, with love.Played the latest version a little bit, here's my thoughts. The mobs are too strong. Extremely strong.
After I teleported to the aether, I died a couple of times just after the teleport (it was night time) because of the tempests. Even after 10 hits with an iron sword, none of them were dead. The prologue is pretty redundant (portion after Intro). The lore part (campfires etc.) make the game feel like it's just another complicated modpack. Blocks don't respect the vanilla theme, and it definitely destroys the immersion.New portal is a really bad choice. Since I'm in need to be strong at least to a level where I can withstand nether, what's the point of the aether teleporter?Other thingiesI've read that items disappear after I go to the aether, but they didn't.

When I die in the aether, my tools stay, but a couple of items of mine drops. So this means I definitely should be strong before I arrive to the aether. Which again, makes the teleporter redundant. There is no custom main menu, probably delayed until the release.Something like JEI must be bundled with the mod if it is meant to be in an automated launcher (if not so, it's fine).OptiFine breaks sound. Most of the AMD GPU users need OptiFine to even play the game properly (mainly, Smooth FPS option). This is the actual postAs an early Aether player, these changes may conflict with what players were used to.1. Aether TeleporterConsidering the iconic value of the aether portal, this change feels out of the game. The point is to get the player to aether as fast as possible, yes.Ways to workaround:a. Make glowstone accessible on the overworld- The player can craft it by a couple of processes with the existing material.- Glowstone can generate in specific areas.- Glowstone can be found on structure chests.b. Make things configurable'aetherEntrance' (values: block, portal, both)'overworldGlowstoneGeneration' (values: yes, no)2.
LoreDue to Minecraft's way telling it's story, having a UI with Terraria-like pixel arts, destroy the immersion, especially in multiplayer.Ways to workaround:a. Lore may be toggled.' NewLore' (values: yes, no)3.
StatesBecause the mod wants you to stay on the aether, some changes were made.Fire: Aether burning is pretty controversial.Aether not burning immerses the player to the fact that it's a reverse of the nether.Ways to workaround:a. Fire can be toggled and its spread may be configured.' AetherFire' (values: blue, red, both, none) b.
Fire spread can be set for the dimension.' AetherFireSpread' (values: blue, red, both, none)Night cycle: It's always night on the nether, and the aether was always in the morning. For continuity (to replace overworld), it is a right decision.Ways to workaround:a. It can be disabled.' NightCycle' (values: yes, no)b. Mob spawning can be altered. The sun may hit the ground so directly that in some time periods of the day, mobs can spawn. The sky or the sun may be tinted a bit purple for the time being.' UltravioletCycle' (values: yes, no)'ultravioletCycleTime' (values: number)ex. 20: 10m daylight, 10m ultraviolet (normal day-night cycle) 0 means random'ultravioletLight' (values: number)ex.
14: 14 natural/sun light (normal sun light value) 0 means no lightThese are just recommendations. Thanks for your wonderful mod. It's your mod, so it's your decision to do what you want. Personally, i love what you guys are doing with the update. However, the two new 'big' features, (The Prologue and the new portal block features,) seem to separate the mod from Minecraft as a whole. When i played this mod, i loved it because it was something that wasn't trying to be a completely separate game, like most mods seemed to do back in 2011-2013. Please make a setting much like 'legacy portals' and 'vanilla dialogue' where the characters speak in the text, rather than a completely new interface.
I loved the mechanic that the old aether portal had. You hop in, much like the nether portal, and BAM! Youre in a completely new dimension with infinite possibities to discover. Please consider adding the said features because me and my friends are looking for a strong nostalgia kick, and when things are completely different compared to the way it was before, it kinda ruins the mood. So once again, this feature seems like a great idea because it helps both my side and the opposing side so we both get what we want.
