Mods For Total War Attila

Welcome to!A subreddit for all of those who love the Total War series. I'm having basically the same mods installed as you, however, I've added a few mods (the names are not correct, but you should find them nonetheless in the workshop):Double Garrison: doubles the garrisons in all settlements, which makes the game develop a bit slower, especially the WRE can now hold out a bit longer. It also makes the game a bit more tactical, as you usually need to bring 1-2 full armies to conquer a settlement. In turn, you don't need to keep armies stationed in every settlement to defend them.Better Barricades: Increases the number of hitpoints of my barricades, so that they aren't destroyed as soon as an enemy unit sneezes in it's direction. Now it takes the enemy around 2 minutes before the barricades are destroyedTower nerf: Nerfs the towers a bit (damage and range) so that I don't lose my whole army when running next to a tower for 10 secondsAmmo Resupply: I find it highly unrealistic that my archers run out of ammo after 15-20 shots when defending their settlement. This mod adds the ability to all skirmishers to add a few shots to their ammo count (the exact amount depends on the type of skirmisher), in turn they can't move for 60 seconds. However, I think that Radious is a bit too easy, just started a Game with the WRE yesterday, and they get 13000 Gold per turn, whereas in the original they only got around 1500.

I might try again with Magnar Mechanics or Fall of the Eagles, which is a shame, because I love the additional units provided by Radious.EDIT: Forgot to mention:Parthian shot: gives all skirmisher cavalry the 'Parthian shot' (i.e. 360° firing arc) and 'shoot on the move' abilities. I installed the Fall of the Eagles mod and now I can actually play the game. I bought Atilla a month ago, played it for an hour, then never picked it up again.

Total War Attila Campaign Mod

It was truly awful and unrealistic on many levels. It was painful to see the units sprint back and forth clump around and yuck. I'm having flashbacks. But the new 3 part Fall of the Eagles mod is like a DeI lite.

The author claims that it's still in the early stages but it already runs pretty well. New models are being added soon and the combat is already miles better than vanilla. If anyone has more info on this mod please let me know.Despite this, I pray DeI for Atilla comes out at some point.

If it doesn't, that's fine with me. It really shines with Rome II anyway and it really is a ton of work to do.Important EDIT: Fall of the Eagles is created by Dresden, the same author behind Divide et Impera. Now I know why it felt so similar. I love you.
