The description and the author's own note call this a 'romantic thriller'. Well it's not.Its almost like a play being staged and the reader knows almost everything that is happening and that the characters have no clue as to what is happening.
But that's not to take anything away from this book.Things happen over 24 hours technically, but the author sets up a lot of side stories at the start which go well into the past, but they tie up well at the end. The conversations stay easy flowing and fun.
Just can't let go of the book once you've started to read. A simple, but adventurous, farming couple start their journey to Devapura expecting to sell their farm produce for a good price. But little do they know of the extraordinary turn of events that lands them in a spot where they're chased by contract killers for a reason they are not aware. The couple, on the run, meets their old friend on a train and suspecting him to be one among 'them' jumps out of a train and then encounter a mysterious. This book is so interesting to read that i read it within 2 days, i mean i can't resist not to read it, Each and every page has a twist and turn and even this book story revolves in places of malenadu. This book is very much different than his other books, If you have seen the movie 'Vantage point ' its the similar way, Story goes forward with different perspectives.
Story starts with 2 smugglers and ends totally different, This book is far better than watching a suspense thrille. Story is one of a kind.
This is the 1st time I am reading this type of novel. Where, The events happen only with a day!!!! The author has seamlessly blended time and story into a cross knit knot. The thought process of each and every character is apt and sharp. Never once I felt I was lagging with the story. The action begins at the end and it is a good chase to the destiny.The story begins with a very different and confusing description.

Generally, only the plot is described. But here, the plot. So this was my first actual Kannada Thriller apart from the translated Yandamuri novels that I had read earlier.I must say I am truly impressed with the kind of narration that was put in here.The Characters are nicely woven into the situations and every character makes sense. The fact that all the incidents happen over 24 hours makes it more interesting.- The couples in the novel really make a good team and I really liked the way Gowri is portrayed here. Sometimes taking informed decisio. Till I reach half of the book, I couldn't figure out where the Author heading as there are so many character come into picture with their own little stories.
