This is for the first fallout 3, I don't know if it works for the expansion packs, but you have to start the 'Take it Back' end quest, then when Elder Lyons is on the railing next to the big holder thing that held the robot, shoot him in the head and make sure he falls off the railing. (the other people shouldn't shoot at you, they only attack you if you attack them) it will say he's unconscious, and jump down after him, when he wakes up he will glitch out and shoot back up to the railing, it's funny to do over and over again.:).

The INI will not become present until the game its self has been run. I just need to put a thing in to write files if they are not there. With Windows 10, I have also found a nother bug that I don't think I can pass with Games for Windows Live.

I have installed it, as I have Fabel 3, so GFWL is fully functional, this causes Fallout 3/New Vegas to use both Steam and GFWL, which is a drag on the system. I think I will be throwing Fabel 3 in the bin, and removing GFWL Full install. As for the graphics, the programme does make the changes for it to work correctly. I had a Nvidia GTX 880 4gb, on a i7 (8 core). And I have no worries.

If you have gone in and changed the setting in the launch after running my programme, it would seem that the launch will over write the values that my programme puts in. I will be going over the programme and launch setting etc. And will post up date, which I will comment back. Hey, doolcookies.

I'm having some trouble running Fallout 3 on my desktop, even after downloading and running your program, as well as following some compatability instructions on Bethesda's site.First: Windows 10 home edition, 64 bit. Got the game through Steam.Second: At first, my game wouldn't load up past the launcher. I would click play, the launcher would close and steam would indicate that I was in a game for a few seconds, (making my portrait green), then drop it out of that and making it blue again. I ran it as administrator and with the compatability function through the Compatability tab. Finally, the game would actually load up, but then when I click 'New Game', it would begin loading, but when it's about halfway through transitioning to the first 'loading slide', the game crashes. This was happening both before and after I used your program.

I've tried running the game on multiple compatability modes, as well as running your program more than once. Every time, the same exact issue arises.

I have no idea how to fix it.Any ideas or comments you have would be much appreciate. What my programme does is basicly set the compatability settings, and adjust the settings in the ini file. Wich is basicly limiting the game to 2 cores, it freaks out on systems (windows 8x and up) with processors with more then that many cores.

There are a couple of tweeks it does do the setting files as well. I have Windows 10 x64 Home, and its running fine for me. I am still trying to sort out the games for windows live issue I am having at the moment. I have a full install of it, and its running Fabel 3, and when steam launches my FO3GY it also wants to kick over games for windows live now.

I am working on it.
